What is Danta Fund's ticket size for startups?
We invest USD$150K per startup with a cap of USD$10MM post-money valuation
How do you connect the startups?
We've built a large network of potential customers, suppliers and allies for our startups in the USA. We also work with several universities and farmer's groups. Finally, we connect our startups with other VCs either to complete their current fundraising round or for posterior rounds
Who are your LPs?
Many of our LPs are from the agriculture world, so they understand exactly what the market needs. Some LPs are founders who've exited and know all about a startup's journey.
Do LPs have access to Danta's startups?
Yes, and we highly encourage it! From the very selection process we invite our LPs to participate in the interviews with our semi-finalists and finalists, to ask questions and evaluate.
Who is involved in the selection process of the startups?
Danta is comprised by one Managing Partner and five Venture Partners. Two Venture Partners are ex-Monsanto/Bayer at St. Louis, Missouri, and have a complete background in toxicity, biotechnology and more. One Venture Partner is the Senior Director at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center and is a key connector within that area. One Venture Partner has strong connections to agriculture in Mexico and the other one is an expert in agriculture business in Argentina. All Venture Partners participate in evaluating, interviewing and later mentoring the startups, along with the Managing Partner.

Danta Fund is raising a $2MM fund to invest in early-stage, disruptive agri-tech startups in Latin America. We focus on innovations with applications in the U.S. and other developed markets. By leveraging our strong alliances with corporations, growers, and key players in these markets, we provide our startups with critical resources, networks, and expertise to accelerate growth and achieve successful exits.
